Directions for Villenuve d'Aveyron

From Rodez (50 mins )

Make a right out of the airport

At Roundabout take D994

Stay on D994 for approx 35 minutes

(Great sidetrip to Belcastel if you have time)

Go straight on D1 to roundabout and take Villeneuve exit

From Toulouse (2 hours)

Take Peage (toll road) north to Paris/Bordeaux A62 – choose Paris – right fork - when road splits – look for Montauban sign


From Montauban (1 hour)

Look for signs to route N20 to
Caussade – take D926 towards Caylus and VilleFranche de Rouergue(approx 30 mins)


At roundabout before center of Villefranche look for route D1 north towards Villeneuve – fast new road (approx 10mins) –

Take Villeneuve exit (D922) and go on regular road towards Villeneuve d’aveyron – a small walled bastide town.

Last Lap

At Villeneuve follow the road around to the left of the town take the second signed turn on the left and at the Total Gas station – route D48 towards Cajarc.

Take the D48 for about 10 minutes and then look for a small sign to the left for Mayrinhagues – go down lane and turn left towards small chateau. My house faces the chateau gates – you first see the back terrace. 

Depending on how many people are in residence, park in front or behind house. 

Depending on time of year, and other residents, you can park in the passage beside or in front of house
